Do you think we are not yet ready for this kind of technology in our health system?
- Ethical consideration

Stem cell therapy faces challenges such as
ReplyDelete#identification of specific stem cells
#integration and proliferation of cells
#rejection
It is still highly under development in animal models to treat parkinson dse diabetes cancers and many more but currently bone marrow stem cell transplants are successive it also requires high skills and technology advancement but its really a goood shot to do further researches to come up with great effective therapies
Do you think we can start our research facilities here in Tanzania?
ReplyDeleteResearches show that there is a promising future in treating Diabetes Melitus..
ReplyDeleteW're not yet there as long as we cant make those steam cells, the technology relays on harvesting steam cells from "young developing human" (fetus). For instance in brain cell therapy for treatment of Parkinson's disease, about 10 fetus my be required for treatment of one patient. so this is a net lose of 9 people.
